During March, Peru faced a weather emergency caused by the intense rain, flash floods (loosening pieces of soil with mud and rocks) and landslides which were brought on by another El Niño phenomenon. Consequently, there were countless economic and material losses, which affected various areas of our capital, especially the northern region of the country.

Sanitas Peru stands united with our Peruvian brothers who were affected and we are committed to bringing any support within our reach. Thus, we have started the campaign "United for Peru", collecting water, clothes, goods, non-perishable food items, hygiene products to be sent to the affected families, all of which were donated by our employees. Colombia's OSI joined the initiative by sending 48 boxes filled with donations. Thanks to all those contributed!

Jorge Luis Puescas, one of our employees, and his family were affected by the natural disasters in the city of Piura. Colombia's Sanitas Foundation coordinated the delivery of financial aid with Peru for him, his wife and his daughter so as to cover their basic needs during this emergency.

Proving, once again, we are a strong, united, sensitive and committed family with the integrity and health of those in need. THANKS EVERYONE!
